High Hopes is a campaign to inform people about the work of the Foundation, its aims and successes. This campaign supports future school initiatives ensuring the continuing development of High School of Dundee as well as our bursary programme, which offers help to able pupils needing financial assistance.
The campaign will change as the need for support alters. During 2010 the key focus for the High Hopes campaign is on providing vital support for our bursary programme.
We are introducing an annual gift programme as part of the campaign to encourage support from former pupils, parents and friends of the School. Your financial contributions will help to provide life changing educational opportunities for pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds, who need help for a variety of reasons.
Dr John Halliday, Rector, says
"Since the founding of the school 770 years ago, we have strived to provide an outstanding education for local children, whatever their means. Our High Hopes campaign will help to raise awareness of the importance of financial support and to boost the level of funding we raise, to continue our long tradition of supporting and strengthening our community through the tradition of excellence in education.”
